The Hyundai Motor Company officially entered the U.S. market in 1986 as Hyundai Motor America. Since then, this South Korean automotive brand has released a wide range of affordable passenger cars. Since 2005, the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama plant has been the largest production facility operated by Hyundai Motor America. Located in Montgomery, this factory has been supporting thousands of regional jobs. Some models that have been assembled at this plant include Elantra, Sonata, and Santa Fe.
